We use these exercises to solve gnarly problems, and think some of them can be helpful for other teams as well. What it isn’t
It’s not comprehensive of everything that goes into an entire, end-to-end UX process. It’s not everything we do (not by a long shot). But we do do everything that’s here -- it helps us and we hope it will help you.
How to use it
We’ve organized the plays by the phases of our design philosophy -- the double diamond -- so you can see where each play fits into the larger process. You can also find the play you need by the problem you’re trying to solve.
